Is Italclay ISO9001 certified?
Italclay distribute product trough an extensive net of qualified distributors and regional branches. Not all of them are necessarly certified, but all our production is made in ISO9001 certified facilities.

Bentonite a natural clay, generally consisting mostly of montmorillonite. Ther's mainly 3 tipes of bentonite: natural sodic, calcium and chemically activated. The peculiarity is its capacity to swell if compund with water, up to 10 times the initial volume. This principle is used in the most advanced, ecologic and high performance line of Waterproofing products in the market.
Montmorillonite is a very soft phyllosilicate mineral that typically forms in microscopic crystals, forming a clay. Is the main component of bentonite.
Wich type of Bentonite is used in Italclay products?
The most active form of Bentonite is Natural Calcium one. All Italclay products are manufactured with TerraeĀ®, our high swellable, first grade Natural Sodium Bentonite, with a certified percentage of montmorillonite higher than 80%.
Where are located Italclay facilities?
